All Hallows’ Eve 2010

As some of you are aware, I recently finished an urgent crochet project: a camouflage circle jacket I wanted to complete for a friend in time for All Hallows’ Eve.

The friend in question had expressed an interest in dressing as Lady Gaga for the holiday, but I reminded him of a conversation over Facebook that had taken place earlier in the year when he agreed to wear a camouflage circle jacket (with a manly fringe) if I made it; so make it I did. Not only did the jacket have a manly fringe, it also had pom pom ties, and to my delight, it even fit.

Here is what the jacket looked like before I crammed it into a large, flat-rate box from the U.S. Postal Service and sent it off to it’s new home:

Three days later it arrived at it’s destination. Here are the first photos available of Teddy in his camouflage circle jacket (with a special thank you to the photographer, Laurie, for getting this pictures taken in time for me to share):

I am not entirely certain what forces compelled me to make this project, but I don’t think I could have asked for a better (or more intrepid) model.
