Two-and-a-half months ago, using a free pattern I found at Drops Design, I made what I termed a psychedelic circle jacket which can be seen here:

As the result of a series of comments in response to my posting of a picture of the above jacket on my facebook page, I agreed to make a jacket for a friend, but instead of the bright colors I had chosen for my own jacket, it was determined that his would be in colors meant to evoke camouflage and would have the added element of a manly fringe.
With Halloween just 12 days away and a continent separating me from my friend, I woke to the realization that time is now of the essence, and if this is going to be finished in time, I had better get busy with this so that I would have time to ship it priority mail so he could got as a crochet diva and wear his new jacket for the upcoming holiday.
Working with two strands of Red Heart Super Saver yarn and a K hook, I managed to finish the first 9 rounds of what will most likely be a 25-round circle jacket before dinner.
Concerned that the sun would set without me getting a decent picture, I ended up taking this series of photos:

After dinner, I managed to complete another two rounds leaving me with 14 increasingly larger rounds left to do.
I am crossing my fingers that I get this done and out in the mail by Monday.
