Finishing the camouflage circle jacket

Tonight’s post is, of necessity, short. This is due to the fact that I am determined to finish the camouflage circle jacket.

It is easy to think that something can wait until tomorrow, because, in fact, many things can.

This jacket, however, is not one of them, and I needed to use every minute I had to crochet it:

and — with what little time was left over — document it:

Lucky for me, it is the kind of project that no longer involves any color decisions and even though it is well past sunset tonight, I am midway through crocheting the second arm, and I have vowed not to sleep until both arms are completed.

I made this vow, in part, to give voice to the importance this project has to me, and, in part, because it’s also true that I probably won’t be able to fall asleep until I have both sleeves done, so there is no point in even trying until then.

Meanwhile, I crochet, moving forward one stitch at a time.
