The fourth practically perfect bag almost comes together

The work cleaning out my office has continued, but now that the horizontal surfaces are mostly cleared, I have moved onto the bags tucked away here and there that house assorted projects in various states of done and undoneness, and

One of the projects was a bag that is officially the fourth “Practically Perfect Granny Square Bag,” but which will be the sixth practically perfect bag completed.

When I first got it out of hibernation, I still had a few interior ends to weave in:

(which I did):

A lining to cut out and sew (which I also did):

and then pinned into place:

I then took out a needle and thread, and I got this far in securing the lining to the body of the bag before it was time to take a photo for this blog post:

and I also got part of the handle/edging done as well:

I had hoped that I would manage to finish this bag before the sun set on the weekend, but tomorrow is a new day, and I will continue to move forward one stitch at a time.
