Today the weather was, in a word, variable.
I awoke to the threat of rain, but the bus my youngest son takes to school arrives early enough that we were able to miss the thrill of getting caught in the downpour that began shortly after seven this morning.
After a good drenching that washed away most of the pollen from the cars and the walkways, the rest of the morning was mostly cloudy with an occasional sprinkle.
By late afternoon, a stiff breeze had cleared out the clouds and a fine film of pollen on, once again covered all horizontal outdoor surfaces, and I found myself, broom in hand, preparing to take photos of today’s crochet efforts.
I had gotten a lot done, including five turqua crochet tetrimino “I”s:
