One of my goals for the new year is to finish some of the many works in progress (WIP) that populate my house, and while I was working on a medium textured square for my current front burner crochet project (a large, textured gray blanket), I came across a nearly completed goat:
I very much wanted to drop everything and finish it today, but the blanket had the better claim on my attention, and so I spend all of my crochet time making the squares needed to complete it.
As I noted in an earlier post, I altered the design a bit, and as result, I needed to design a medium textured square and make 14 of them. Added to the seven I had already made, are these six new medium squares:
additionally, I finished work on one larger square and one smaller square:
Leaving me with just one medium textured square, and thirteen larger squares shy of what I need in order to start putting it all together, with a little luck, and a lot of consistent work, I just might have this done by Super Bowl Sunday.
