It seems that every January I begin the new year with the intention of getting myself and my crochet stuff organized, and this year I finally feel that I am beginning to make some headway in the endeavor. To propel me closer to my goal of a more organized reduced-stress life, I am crocheting a series of baskets that fit into the Ikea cubbies I purchased several years ago. The idea is that I will both reduce my stash, and have a place to put things. I am now on the third basket.
Using my 2010 North Carolina State Fair project to guide my color choices for the baskets:

today I made continued progress on the third basket using the unifying neutral of my 2010 state fair project, Red Heart Super Saver aran.

I am very much looking forward to having all eight baskets done and placed in their cubbies, ready to turn chaos into order, and I am continuing to move toward that goal, one stitch at a time.
