Crochet round up

The past week-and-a-half has been a whirlwind of activity, so this morning, it was more than a bit of a relief to wake up in my own bed and experience a day that at least bordered on normal and involved fewer than 300 miles of driving.

What I woke up to, however, was all of the things that did not do themselves in my absence, and while I was sorting through all of the undoneness of my life that needed doing, I came across a few things of interest — a crochet round up of sorts.

One was this photo of our neighbor’s dog, Oreo, on the pet bed I made for her:

Next up was this awesome little bag I got while I was in Edwardsville, Illinois this past weekend:

Whenever I am in town, I try to make a point of stopping by Knit One, Weave Too, and I am never disappointed. In addition to the darling and completely useful Hadaki bag pictured above, I also got this button for my mom to give to a friend who is involved cat rescue:

As well as a rhinestone accented zipper, some burnished D-rings from Clover, and six flower buttons that were too cute not to buy:

And if, as tomorrow’s forecast suggests, we get some rain, I will be enjoying a rainy crochet day.
