Eleven motifs to go — not ten, not twelve, but eleven, and I have just ten days to get them done.
Inspired by the first crochet cookie project I ever made, this year’s state fair project has at times been frustrating and other times fun.
At the moment — even though there are just ten days left to to work on it — it is beginning to look as though I will finish my 2013 North Carolina State Fair project, and I might, just might, not have to stay up all night on October 13 to get it ready for the October 14 noon deadline.
Yesterday, after piecing together the five motifs on the far right of this photo:

I laid out seven of fourteen motifs needed to finish this project, and today, in between a hair appointment, doggy day camp, and some monumental traffic on the way to a trumpet lesson, I managed to piece three of them together:

and now that the errands are done, I best get hook in hand as I have many stitches to crochet before I sleep.
IT’S GORGEOUS!
When I look at this my brain runs out of superlatives to describe it so I will start with Awesome!
You just blow me away!!!!! Amazing!
