The week in review: March 24 through March 28, 2013

My son’s spring break started yesterday, so for the second non-weekend days in a row, I have enjoyed the luxury of sleeping in until 7:15, and for the second day in a row, we had clear skies and crisp temperatures that certainly looked gloriously spring like.

While I spent a good portion of my day working on the sawtooth sunflowers, and met my goal of at least 6 squares a day:

I did succumb to the temptation to try my hand at this free pattern for a crochet panoramic sugar egg which is a collaborative effort of Twinkie Chan and Norma Lynn.

I got absolutely none of the decoration done, but I did complete this shell:

I am looking forward to an Easter weekend that is both busy and relaxing, and I hope that everyone is able to fit a bit of joy into the next couple of days.
