In the wake of finishing my 2010 North Carolina State Fair crochet project, my non-crochet life has come roaring back full force.
Today I spent the bulk of the morning running errands and attempting to get a window seat in a waiting room so that I could have cell phone reception.
But by 2:00 pm, I had eaten lunch and was ready to enjoy the unusually warn and sunshiny autumn day. I got out my 4.00 mm Clover crochet hook, an assortment of Red Heart Super Saver yarn, and sat outside where I could enjoy the weather and crochet:

Yarn and tools at the ready, I managed to complete the remaining round of a granny square I started yesterday and finish four new granny squares for my dress-to-be. By the time I had to set them aside to do do some things that needed doing, I had finished eight squares:

Tomorrow is a new day with follow up obligations related to this mornings errands. I don’t expect to get a lot done, but I do hope that when the sun sets on the day, I will find that I am at least a few squares closer to my goal.
