While I made good progress on Friday, finishing the last three hexagons needed for my 2014 World Cup soccer ball endeavor:

as well as the final pentagon which was a reworking of the hexagon inspired by the flag of Japan as I had found myself with one too many hexagons and one too few pentagons:

the balance of my Saturday and Sunday were spent driving to and from Huntsville, Alabama.
Many of my regular readers know that each June, my youngest son attends his beloved Space Camp, and this was the view as of about noon CDT this past Sunday:

The skies were clear, my son was ready for adventure, and I was many hours from home, so I drove, and I drove, and I drove.
And while I eventually reached my home both safe and sound, there had been no time to crochet.
But I am now home for at least a few days, and I can hardly wait to breath life into my 2014 World Cup soccer ball.
I’m amazed about your fun idea and thet you’re almost done.
The South Korea one is my favorite!! Perfect!!
Love the South Korean Flag! Of course I Am partial as I have a daughter who also happens to be Korean!!!
