has, for the day, continued to elude me.
Although I worked on Square C-3 today with the hope of making progress on the afghan — at times it seemed as though it had consumed the entire day –s omewhere along the way, I failed to count the number of double crochet stitches in the second round. There should have been sixteen double crochet stitches and 8 chain-one spaces. But as it happened, that was not the case.
Instead, by the time I got to the fifth round (with a good deal of difficulty and delay), I noticed that the second round had 18 double crochet stitches and 9 chain-one spaces.
I decided the easiest thing to do was start over, which I did. I have made good progress on the square, but I did not get it done.
Be that as it may, I did stumble across this wonderful scarf at doyoumindifiknit:

It will take all the crochet willpower I have to not start this project before I finish the ever elusive afghan, but for the time being the number of partially completed crochet projects I have is sufficient to hold me.
