10 crafting days until Christmas

With just 10 crafting days left until Christmas, not only is there not enough time to get done everything I can think of to do, there is also not enough time to panic, and with panic off the table, the only option at this point is action, so today, I worked on the soccer ball.

As it too often true, my work did not go as quickly as I would have liked, and while what I have left to do at this point, what is left to do is fairly straight forward, life manages to insert itself in-between me and what I need to do.

I need 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons, and at least the pentagons are done:

crochet pentagons for a crochet soccer ball, crochetbug, crochet ball, crochet toy, crochet hexagons
A dozen crochet pentagons for a Duke Blue inspired soccer ball

The hexagons are another story. They require color changes and weaving in of ends, but while overall the hexagons are in various states of completion.

Ten of them are done:

duke blue, crochet soccer ball, crochetbug, duke blue devils, crochet flower, crochet hexagons, crochet hexagon, crochet ball
One panel of the Duke blue crochet soccer ball

duke blue, crochet soccer ball, crochetbug, duke blue devils, crochet flower, crochet hexagons, crochet hexagon, crochet ball
Five additional completed crochet hexagons

And ten of them need additional work:

ten crochet hexagon flowers, crochetbug, crochet flowers, crochet hexagons, crochet soccer ball, crochet ball
Ten not-quite-completed crochet hexagons

If I am going to have this soccer ball done by Thursday, I think I had better get busy.
