I haven’t finished what I now think of as my power bag and already I am attributing magical powers to it.
I don’t know the precise nature of these heretofore unidentified powers, but I have a lot of expectations of this bag, not the least of which is the ability to transform. What, exactly it will transform, I don’t know, but it seems to me that it should be able to transform something.
While I spent most of the weekend getting caught up on sleep after a week which had felt long by the time the sun had set on Tuesday, I did manage to finish the requisite hexagons and half hexagons to be able to put the bag together, and here is what I came up with:

Clearly, the color scheme makes it difficult to misplace.
I have not made a final decision about what to do with regard to closures and handles. My initial plan involved a zipper, but because of the way I oriented the bag, that is no longer an option. Now I am considering either a button/snap assembly of some kind or crisscrossing handles that close the purse.
No doubt I will run though five or six different options before exhaustion forces my hand and I choose one.
Love the bag.
Thank you. I have been working on a crocheted cord today that I will use as the handle. I’m hoping it works as I imagine it will.
