Today, I made the trek from my home to what my 12-year-old described as “the sprawling metropolis” of Old Fort, North Carolina.
For those of you unfamiliar with Old Fort, North Carolina, (population 959) it is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is home to Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing which has an outlet store located at 550 Orchard Street and is the real reason I stopped there.
While in Old Fort, I had the opportunity to learn a lot about what products Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing has to offer the crocheter, and I will cover that more thoroughly in my blog tomorrow. Today, I’d like to show you the kind of trouble a tiger can get himself into at a yarn outlet.
Here is Boo-Boo outside Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing:

While Boo-Boo behaved himself outside the outlet store, the same cannot be said about his behavior once we got inside:

While Boo-Boo had an excellent time investigating all of the products that were available, he also managed to buy himself a few items while I talked to Flo Carlisle about all of the products Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing offers.
Here is Boo-Boo with his haul:

It was a trip well worth the effort, and I will share more of what I learned tomorrow.
LOL! I can’t tell had more fun, you or BooBoo!
We both had a pretty good time. At least he remembered to get a couple of things on my list. 🙂
I love the bright colors Boo Boo picked. Good thing Boo Boo doesn’t live at my house he looks like he would get me in trouble with the hubby. lol
Fortunately Boo-Boo and I share the same color palette. Don’t know how your husband could hold you responsible for the actions of a renegade tiger. 🙂
oooo…I have visions of cotton potholders, doilies, wash cloths and more!!!!
I want to make a rug with the double worsted, but couldn’t settle on the colors I wanted. Guess I will have to go back one day.
Oh, Boo-Boo, you naughty tiger, you!
Can you believe this tiger?! At least he got a few of the items on my list.
