As I near the end of my journey of a thousand rehabbed crochet squares, I am anxious to finish them so that I can get myself ready for whatever crochet adventure is next. As I work what will be the final stitches of this project, I find myself looking forward to organizing what remains of my yarn empire, and still as clueless as to how I will accomplish it as I was eighteen months ago when this whole rehab/downsizing/moving adventure began.
I still have a garage filled with boxes and bins of yarn, finished projects, and unfinished projects, and as I work the stitches and weave in the ends, I try to envision how I will organize the pieces I choose to take forward with me.
But while visions of the future are one part of moving forward, doing the work in front of you is another part, so yesterday, I wove in the ends of the remants I am currently rehabbing, and worked another round of crochet where it was needed:

By the time I had woven in the ends that generated and then crocheted yet another round of rehab, I had all but two squares done:

And then, with not too much work at all, I had all nine squares done and ready for their crochet adventure:

Which meant that I had to go find more crochet remnants. Three bins, one small tub, and a bag of remnants later, I was back on the road to a thousand crochet remnants:

I’ve learned a lot of things from this adventure, and one things I have learned is this: a thousand crochet remnants might just be a few too many.
I thought it sounded like a great idea, but after only a tiny few did I think I’ll never make it! Hooray for you my dear?.
Hi Miss Leslie! I started to crochet “crochet remnants” as you do! But my remnants do no look as nice as yours! ?
