One thing I did not cover in my regular blog posts this week was the release of a second design I sold to Red Heart, makers of my beloved Red Heart Super Saver yarn.
Based on the twelve-day afghan:

— which I entered in the 2006 North Carolina State Fair where it received a blue ribbon — I reworked the design to meet the size requirements for a throw, and the Crochet Circles Throw was born:

As for my crochet activity today, I got started on two future pig faces:

and in an effort to tidy up and have fewer pieces of the “If pigs (and dogs and birds and bears and frogs and lions and turtles) could fly” project to lose, I started the work of piecing together this UFO:

While I had hoped to have it done in time for my nearest Project Linus Chapter’s Make-A-Blanket Day, I am reasonably certain I will not be able to get it done in time for the February 16 festivities, but since Project Linus needs donations year round, I will still be able to donate this blanket whether or not I get it done by next Saturday.
Now, for the week in review!

Saw your piece in the Red Heart ad- congratulations!
Thank you, Michele! I hope your power stays on during the storm and that you are warm and safe.
