The week in review: January 13 through January 17, 2013

This is what I awoke to this morning:

Iago had passed through, leaving in its wake streets filled with soggy snow and clear blue skies which made for excellent light by which to crochet. As my Sisterhood of Colors swap has a requirement of using black yarn, I put that excellent light to good use and finished Square 4

I really like the texture that the rounds of slip stitching create, as well as the added benefit of squaring up the motif for those times you don’t want the wonky look of an unfettered granny square.
